The federal government is prepared to subpoena Google in what appears to be a "formal antitrust investigation into whether the search giant has abused its dominance on the Web," The Wall Street Journal reported.
Tablets are said to be "content consumption" devices, and a new study, conducted by Frank N. Magid Associates, in collaboration with the Online Publishers Association (OPA), that surveyed 2,482 people, between the ages of 8 to 64, backs up that contention. You can't help but come to such a conclusion when you read about how investors are weighing at least in part - the data breach when sending Sony's shares lower.

Not wanting to be outdone by Apple's recent announcement of iCloud, Microsoft has upgraded its SkyDrive service.
As competition with the ultra-fast Android phone revs up, Apple is set to launch a new, faster iPhone this fall and is testing a new version of the iPad, according to media reports.
According to PCWorld.com, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has posted test results for what looks to be a possible refresh of Apple's AirPort Extreme base station. However, it is difficult to know what changes have been made to the wireless hardware because Apple has requested the federal agency to keep all proprietary details confidential.
