| Dear Friend: I wanted to update you with some good news regarding our petition of the Department of Justice to investigate News Corp. for violations of U.S. law. First, since we started four days ago, over 13,000 people have signed onto our effort. Additionally, at least eight members of Congress (Sens. Jay Rockefeller, Barbara Boxer, Frank Lautenberg, Robert Menendez, and Reps. Peter King, Bruce Braley, Louise Slaughter, Earl Blumenauer) have joined our call for an investigation. Second, Attorney General Eric Holder announced today that he was starting an investigation of News Corp.
