Alter Your Beast: Hardly Human Clothing
A trio of Dallas designers has dropped a line of "clothing that represents a style within another galaxy", starting with just a few examples including their mascot -- a comic mad scientist -- and a tank postulating that "Dopeness + Dedication = Success", suggesting that Michael J. Fox's secret was buying dopeness from that cool guy down in the mail room.
They've got tons more designs on the way; click here to check their store

Help Out: Shannon Stone Memorial Fundraiser
This Sunday at the Farmers Market, your $30 ticket gets you sustenance from Lockhart Smokehouse, Pecan Lodge, Il Cane Rosso, and Deep Eddy Sweet Tea Vodka, plus a seat at an auction benefiting the family of the tragically lost firefighter. Auction prizes run from getting the kitchen-masters from either Restaurant Ava or Suze to be your personal chef for an evening, to a signed lithograph of Mickey Mantle donated by the slugger's family.
There're only about 150 tix remaining; click here to get yours before they're gone

Meet New People: Name Tag
From the former VP & GM of Match.com and a co-founder of mp3.com, this real-world iPhone game directs you to "tag" complete-stranger fellow players who happen to be nearby by approaching them, then either answering questions about yourself, or completing a simple challenge with them, e.g., find something purple and snap a picture, probably the only time you'll ever utter "Thank God I dressed like Prince today".

Heavy Metal: Jim Muise's Automotive Photography
The personal gallery of a Canadian auto journalist who's called Dallas home for decades, this Tumblr features shots of events like La Carrera Panamericana (a vintage road race through Mexico), as well as tons of cars from local collections, from '50s and '60s classics like Mercs, T-Birds, Stingrays, and Mustangs, to post-war Oldsmobiles, to the newest badassery outta Detroit, and even a blown Caddy -- which might've led to a more graceful Steve Williams saying "the pleasure was all mine".
It's a celebration of cars as art -- see the rest right here

Watch Out Now: Golana @ JackThreads
Our Battle Broads have overcome all obstacles including cripplingly difficult Speed Racer sections, and that glitch on level 11 that causes Player Two to freeze up and he has to lose all of his lives before Player One can keep going to bring you 15 different styles from the classy Swiss watchists.
