Drink Up: Bull Run's Temperance Trader Bourbon
While waiting on its own house whiskey, new Portland distillery Bull Run has created the Temperance Trader line, allowing them to release unknown, small-batch boozy goodness they've discovered outside their walls, including a true 85-proof Bourbon County whiskey they characterize as "soft, warm, and slightly sweet", also how to describe Val Kilmer after he spilled some powered sugar on himself in the sauna.

To celebrate the end of summer and the goodness that is their small-run aged Aquavit, House Spirits is throwing a free Swede-ish party in their parking lot, with comped Aquavit tastes/ 'tails, crawfish from Chop, pickled herring from Broder, and lefse bread from Viking Soul Food, also a movie in which they replaced Vanessa Williams with defensive tackle Pat Williams, and he ate all the food.
