Feeding you all the food truck info you need
Because keeping up with food truck Twitter feeds can lead to an unconscious craving for #tigerblood, check out Roaming Hunger, just launching in Dallas to help us navigate the burgeoning meals-on-wheels scene. The many ways it can help:
Maps Trucks: Click a truck's icon on the handy Gmap to see recent tweets and how long they'll be staying in that location; you can also sort by time of day to avoid loitering in a convenience store parking lot all afternoon like you're waiting for your meth dealer!
Email/SMS updates: They'll shoot you an alert when your fav trucks set up shop within a radius you provide; you can also set a time range designating when you'll be amenable to eating, unless you're Sally Struthers, since "always" isn't really a range.
Reserve A Truck: Give them basic deets about your business lunch/birthday party/Vagina Monologues monologue-ing party, and they'll contact appropriate trucks and see who's willing to listen to you monologue about your vagina cater your event.
They're currently set up in 21 cities (so, you know, tell friends), and if your interest goes beyond stuffing yourself, they'll even help you get your own operation off the ground by hooking you up with a food truck outfitter "who can build anything you can dream of -- and still be in the health code", a good thing, since our city's inspectors are always out for #blood.
