Studio Art Architecture Shots
Raising structures to artistic levels
From a vastly experienced dude who "just happens to live in a place where art and design is considered girly" -- Midland -- comes some decidedly masculine wall-makeup, Studio Art's architectural photography: sharply angular shots of everything from diners to skyline-definers, all of which have the effect of making your abode seem as expansive as your abode is not expansive. Ready-to-hang canvases include:
The Space Needle: From this extremely low angle the rainy city's alien/Freudian landmark almost takes on the appearance of a futuristic mushroom, though considering contemporary mushrooms can already make you see stuff like this, why mess with a good thing?
The Torch of Friendship: A subtle reminder that there's more to San Antonio than the Riverwalk, this sculpture by Mexican artist "Sebastian" looks like a vertical racetrack, but not a vertical RaceTrac, because then all the Pemmican Beef Jerky would fall out.
Spheres: After Tuesday, this joke has officially been changed from "This is how big Adrián Beltré's got after he got groin'd by that grounder in '09" to "Adrián Beltré blasts these out of the park in BP" -- either way, there's nothing girly going on here at all.
