Much like Diver Down wouldn't have been a complete album without Eddie Van Halen's "Intruder", your Eddie V's meal won't be complete without these diver scallops plucked straight from Georges Bank, then blackened using a house-secret spice recipe, drizzled with lemon beurre blanc, garnished with chives and red pepper, and topped with bleu cheese from Maytag Farms, the best thing to come out of Iowa since Chris Kingsbury.

Avoid a meat coma while maintaining your manliness by getting your vegetation via Chef Samir's tempura-fried tower, a loving coating that makes it blessedly difficult to tell just what's green beans, asparagus, sweet potatoes, and peppers. Everything's then drenched in Kung Pao sauce, so you can stare at your food challengingly and say "Enter the Face".

For Poorer or Richer: Charlie Palmer's Foie Gras Bread Pudding

If you ask them really nicely, or even just kind-of-nicely, the Joule's Charlie Palmer will twist up a traditional bread pudding with onion, garlic, and pepper before adding in a hearty portion of foie, taking the dish known in the 13thC as "poor man's pudding" and turning it into "that poor man, he didn't know about the Joule's off-menu bread pudding" pudding.
