Coming to an important agreement that will initiate the distribution of Jabra's world-renowned headsets across the Middle East, Jabra and Optimus Techonology and Telecommunications recently solidified a partnership.



Let's face it, not everyone is a fan of the touchscreen keyboard. While tablets have certainly changed the entire market of portable devices and have been predicted as the gadget to replace notebooks once and for all, typing on a screen doesn't always make for decent productivity.



Orlando, Fla.'s city government is testing Alcatel-Lucent's new Intelligent Travel Time System (ITTS), a system using analytics from Bell Labs and Bluetooth technology to provide real-time traffic information.



New York is the only state to try to introduce legislation preventing pedestrians from wearing their headphones when crossing the street. In January, New York State Senator Carl Kruger re-introduced legislation making it illegal to use an iPod, cell phone, Blackberry or any other electronic device while crossing the street. But that legislation has not been approved yet.



In addition to recently launching its Nokia 603 smartphone, the Finnish company also introduced its Nokia Luna Bluetooth Headset.



Near Field Communications, or NFC for short, is usually synonymous with contact-less payments, however mobile device maker Nokia is using it for an entirely different purpose: Bluetooth headsets.



The holiday season is going to be a bit spiced up if Dr. Dre has anything to say about it. Beats by Dr. Dre is a relatively new headphone and earphone company but it has made some real strides over the last year or so. The company recently made an agreement with HTC to have an active partnership in regards to the Sensation XE.



On Wednesday, USA Today reported that Sony has announced a 3D display, a stand-alone monitor, for players using 3D games. As per this report, it was announced at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). It is planned for release both in the US and the UK.
