Here's what our readers and staff are buzzing about from around the world this week: | Los Angeles, California is a mecca for high-end car enthusiasts and eco-minded drivers alike. This year, the line between the two blur at the LA Auto Show, taking place at the Los Angeles Convention Center Nov. 18-27. More than 1,000 cars are on display, of which more than 70 are considered green vehicles.
Almost every car maker, from BMW to Kia is showcasing their own version of a ‘green’ car. You’ll find all-electric vehicles, hybrids, and cars that run on hydrogen fuel cell and natural gas. The number of cars on display that are powered by some form of electricity have grown by 25 percent since last year’s show.

Well, to start with you pretty much have to include two wheels, some form of non-human propulsion, braking and steering systems and well… a nice paint job also helps. With his recent Moto Undone concept, designer Joey Ruiter seems to be rethinking almost every element of what makes a motorbike a motorbike.
The Moto Undone has two wheels, a motor and brakes, but that seems to be the only concessions Ruiter makes toward the consensus reality we elect to name “motorcycle”. His bike is not shaped like a motorcycle; makes no motorcycle noise; does not have a flashy motorcycle paint and runs not on gasoline, but electricity.
