Friday Morning Silver and Gold Update for 11/18/11....Peter R....Southern Trust Metals, Inc.

Good morning Andrew,

Markets appear to be on the mend this morning in the wake of yesterday's European bond market anxiety driven sell-off.....Trader sentiment is improving based on few factors... New European Central Bank (ECB) president Mario Draghi told the European banking congress today that Eurozone governments should initiate their European Financial Stability Facility funds as soon as possible to fight persistent debt issues......   New Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti acknowledged that Italy would have to go through radical fiscal reforms to avoid a long recessionary phase......Over in Spain traders are optimistic as Spain gets ready to hold a general election on Sunday; four months earlier than previously decided.....The investment world will have to wait until Monday to see if the results provide any psychological relief to the markets...Sometimes a simple acknowledgement of the problems make traders feel better....Let me not forget Greece's new government approved a final 2012 budget designed to regain the confidence of creditors and secure resumption of international financing......Meanwhile; the Euro is firming up with a gain of 1.12 cents against the U.S. Dollar.....The price of Oil is $1.00 higher at $99.82.....Metals are on the rise.....Silver sits at $32.40 up 94 cents......Gold is $15.00 higher at $1734.00.....Palladium is $615.00 up $6.00.....Platinum is changing hands at $1600.00 up $12.00 per ounce.....Eurozone stocks remain flat, but the U.S. market is indicating a 93 point higher open according to Dow futures.....Today's economic calendar contains one remaining but minor report for the week.....Leading Indicators are expected to show future U.S. economic growth up .6% versus the prior reading of .2%....A good way to end this week's flow of data.....That's it.....Have a good morning....
