I started CouponCabin.com just over eight years ago in the second bedroom of my condo. At the time, I was 25 years old and I had saved just enough to get my business going and hire one part-time helper. Success for me was simply defined by my ability to keep the lights on and pay my bills. As the years have passed, I've learned that success goes way beyond just paying the bills, and is measured in many other ways, including helping others. Recently, I discovered that grocery coupons, those we all receive in our Sunday newspapers, are valid for six months past their printed expiration date when redeemed in stores and commissaries on overseas military bases. Making ends meet in a foreign country and living on a military base can be challenging. With the help of coupons, many military families can stretch their dollars further and stay within their budgets. Coupon inserts don't appear on military bases like they do in our Sunday newspapers, though, so that's why I'm reaching out to you asking for your help. As we honor those that have served our country on Veterans Day, I'm proud to announce a new program that will lend a helping hand to those active in uniform.
