With many pilot programs launching in districts nationwide, the tablet is becoming a popular educational tool for K-12 educators. The results, concluded from analyst Gene Munster of Piper Jaffray, showed that some 25 educational technology directors at a recent conference of classroom integrated technology, are in favor of bringing the iPad into school establishments with some already testing its use, while rival Android (News - Alert) tablets are not even being considered. As well as other interesting statistics to come out of the survey, it has been reported from AppleInsider, that in the next five years, there will be approximately six students per iPad as oppose to ten students per computer at the present time.
