| CELEBRATING 15 YEARS
In November of 1996, Harvest Restaurant first opened its doors. Chef Stephen Gontram, had a vision of serving Saint Louis, quality, fresh, seasonal food and giving his patrons an enjoyable dining experience through food. Harvest is the original home of seasonal market cuisine. Through the years, Harvest's tradition of excellence has stood tall and strong against the hands of time. Over the past 15 years, Harvest has not only set the path and high standard for seasonal market cuisine in St. Louis, but also has become a strong supporter of local farmers with its "farm to table" menu fares, and really takes special care to keep the environment in mind and reduce our Carbon Footprint.
9 years ago, Chef Nick Miller began his time at Harvest, and quickly pulled through the ranks to become Executive Chef. Because of his dedication to quality and shared beliefs of what Harvest should be, the restaurant was offered to Nick and I to purchase in 2010. Good, quality, fresh and seasonal food has been Nick's passion for what seems like his whole life. Nick's love of Harvest and what it stands for, as well as passion for food continues to reflect on each plate that comes out of our kitchen.
Nick has the support in the kitchen of a group of amazing guys that have, for many years, been putting their hearts and souls into each and every dish. The amazing food is only part of why Harvest continues to be a success today. Harvest has continued to maintain an amazing front of house staff that takes pride in everything they do each and every day. For years, they have consistently given quality service, to ensure each of you has an enjoyable dining experience. We can truly say that we believe each person, we are blessed enough to have working at Harvest, is the cream of the crop, the absolute best of the best and we are grateful.
Of course, Harvest would not be what it is today without you. We extend a heartfelt "thank you" for choosing to dine at our table each night. We sincerely thank each of you for sharing your families, friends, special occasions and love of food with Harvest for the past 15 years. We look forward to continuing to serve you with the same quality and excellence that is synonymous with Harvest, for many years to come.
