Flanagan states that iPhone 4S synchronization with Apple servers may also contribute to accelerating data consumption patterns. Siri, introduced late last year in tandem with the iPhone 4S, enables users to employ a natural spoken language to access and perform device tasks like mobile search, messaging, and contacts. The technology (acquired by Apple in April 2010) essentially applies search algorithms to translate udders verbal search queries and commands into web searches.
