The day she put the check in the mail, their car died. It isn't fixable, and Carrie doesn't know what to do now. Someone gave them a vehicle to use, but she doesn't know how long it will last. Dave tells Carrie they need to make do for now. Co-Signing Won't Help Them Wendy in Dallas has a daughter and son-in-law who recently moved to Texas. They had a condo in another state, and since it didn't sell, they're going into a short sale. The homeowners association won't allow them to rent it. They're considering finding another small home for them, and Wendy would help them finance it. Dave has an answer Wendy wasn't expecting. Don't Change the Steps Nicole in Indiana and her husband are 30 years old and have a substantial amount in retirement plus college savings for their kids. Should they put those steps on hold to pay off their mortgage sooner? Making A Fair Estate Plan Diana in Texas and her husband are farmers and have two children who will inherit the farm. Diana's daughter wants to come back and farm with them. Their son would, too, but he dislikes the nastiness that comes with farming. If their daughter is working in the business, how do they handle splitting it between their two kids fairly?
