An old house graced with twin patios and adorned with photos of old Oak Cliff and some serious eclecticism (sculptured hands holding books, half-burned candles at an altar...bones in the flower bed!?), this cozy resto/bar unleashes its full menu tomorrow, from cajun-aioli shrimp po' boys with housemade pickles, to basil-pesto kale wraps (creamy Parm-polenta, fire-roasted pepper, seasonal veggies), to a brunch lineup anchored by rib eye/egg/provolone "Philly Sliders" -- considering his helmet-battered ribs, probably not named for Michael Vick.

This recently opened, "casual-yet-upscale", NY-style pie co.'s offering up video games, flatscreens, and a menu that ranges from classic dough joints (Neapolitan, Sicilian deep-dish, calzone, stromboli), to pastas (lobster ravioli, manicotti), to mains like veal parmigiana and chicken "piccata", whose translation as "pounded flat" suggests the chicken might actually be Bayou Bengal.

Nothing but Grande, WI cheeses and Stanislaus tomatoes are used by this FND institution, which also makes its dough daily, then lets it sit a full 48hrs to ensure crusty perfection before adorning it with ultra-fresh toppings and either popping it in the oven or packing it as a take 'n bake. They've also got some of the meatiest wings around, best consumed with their "lip numbing" hot sauce, which is why Pizza Guy doubles as a plastic-surgery prep room for Hollywood collagen recipients. Suck on that, Hollywood...with your fat collagen lips!
