The Playbook
Bagel Time: Spielman Coffee Roasters
2128 SE Division; Southeast
Just opened on lower Division, Spielman pours super-small-batch, daily roasted, shade-grown coffee sourced directly from small farmers, which they pair with housemade, Montreal-style, un-Kosher sourdough bagels, including a bacon cheddar number dubbed "the Rabbi's Nightmare", which is usually about forgetting all the words to the haftarah while falling off a really tall cliff in the Sinai desert. Oy vey!
They've got weekly specials up on their Facebook page, so swing on by and marvel at the bagel goodness

Made the Favorite 5: Lonesome's Pizza
503.234.0114
Lonesome's cracked our list of best pizza parlors thanks to 3a deliveries of thin-crust artisan pies, emerging artist profiles in every box (often including CDs, which're like records for MP3s from the '20s or something), and a menu that reads like the best fight card ever, including the fresh mint, braised leg of lamb, artichoke, and goat cheese-topped "Brigitte Nielsen vs. a Fanny-Pack Full of Pit Vipers vs. Whatever it Was That Killed My Grandpa".
Swing by LonesomesPizza.com, if only to read the rest of the truly hilarious menu

iWood: Brenden Butler iPad Pods
These handy spool-shaped Pad pedestals not only offer adjustable viewing angles and stability on soft surfaces like pillows/Val Kilmer's stomach, but also keep your power source and cords stored beneath a matching lid made of turned maple, just like Rick James did in the '60s to avoid the draft. Look it up!
Swing by his online shop right now and get some wood you're not going to want to hide
