| | | Start 2012 With a Life in Balance
 The Bayer Corporation is one of many companies investing in the lives of their team members. They've started an initiative called "Be Well" that helps people lead healthier lifestyles. In late October, Christy Brown spoke to a group of men and women in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on establishing goals and living a balanced life. Alicia Hudson, Senior Medical Associate with Bayer, said that Christy made a tremendous impact, and people were still talking about it more than a month later.
"Attendees would come and ask me about topics Christy covered, and I'd think, What would Christy say?" Alicia added, "One of the most important things we learned from Christy is how to say no. It's alright to say no. People aren't going to condemn you for it."
Referring to Christy's passion and delivery, Alicia commented, "Christy captured our attention. There was no daydreaming! She gave us personal experiences we could all relate with. People who weren't able to make it have heard about it and are asking when Christy's coming back. In fact, I've already scheduled Christy to return in March to speak to our team on personal finance and budgeting!"

It all started when Christy Brown was 18 years old and first served as a volunteer for Young Life. A desire was birthed back then, and she's never looked back. Now as a speaker and member of Dave's team, Christy is answering the call to help others come alive.
Christy's direct style and humor connect, and her passion is contagious. Christy inspires people to live the life they were created to live. This includes helping men, women and youth learn how to find happiness despite circumstances, take personal responsibility, and make decisions that strengthen character and lead to success.
Christy has also spoken at a number of women's conferences, helping her audiences regain confidence and learn to balance the craziness of life. Christy gets to the root of the issues women face, sharing how to find value, identity, and strengths. Becoming great in every aspect of life is a choice, and Christy leads her audiences to it.
