All My Lovely Goners Art Opening

Pinch
All My Lovely Goners Art Opening

Friday, February 24th from 6-9pm

All My Lovely Goners

This multimedia exhibit features collages by Lillianna Pereira together with photographs and video by Philip Price of the band Winterpills. In conjunction with the Winterpills' newest CD release, All My Lovely Goners, an acoustic set will take place at pinch. Winterpills also teamed up with Greenfield brewery The People's Pint to create "The Winterpillsner" which will be served at the opening reception.

The artwork for All My Lovely Goners (the 5th CD from Winterpills) was designed collaboratively by Lillianna and Philip. Released February 14th on Signature Sounds, the design features combined original collages and photos from a project where the same outdoor view was photographed every day for a year. The exhibition will run through March 24th, but don't miss the opening night of Winterpills' Weekend at pinch!

About the Artists

Lillianna Pereira is an artist and designer living in Western Massachusetts. She received her formal art education at the Hartford Art School, and worked at Bidwell ID, a small branding and marketing firm, for 10 years before pursuing her art/design career independently. Lilly has won numerous design awards including a Grand Gold CASE Award and Gold Creative Merit Awards. Her artwork has been included in several exhibitions within the U.S. and internationally.

Philip Price is a songwriter and artist from Hadley, Massachusetts. He studied painting and printmaking at Bennington College. While his main creative focus eventually became music, he still draws, paints and does graphic design work and photography. His design imprint is on the visuals that accompany much of Winterpills album releases and related materials, which is often collaborative, much like this show, his first in many years.
