Good afternoon Andrew, Sorry to be running late....
Metals recovered the morning losses and ended the trading day mostly higher as fresh saber rattling on the part of Iran raised geo-political anxiety, pulling the metals higher in its wake......Gold closed at $1772.00 up $14.00.....Silver recouped losses to end the New York session unchanged at $34.29.....Palladium added $13.00 to $728.00....Platinum finished at $1724.00 up $36.00 per ounce.....Metals got a little added support from an afternoon recovery in the Euro currency which now sits at $1.3252 up 19/100ths of U.S. cent......Meanwhile; Crude oil edged back from the morning lows, but still remains a shade lower on a combination of profit taking versus notched up geo-political anxiety....Last trade $105.89 off 36 cents per barrel.....Over in the stock market the Dow remains wishy washy at 12,957 off 8 points.....Since I'm running late, I'll simply say that's it.....Have a good afternoon....I'll be back in the morning with the latest....
