The South American-influenced brasserie's opening Sunday mornings for dishes like sweet corn cakes w/ whipped cream, smoked maple & candied bacon and mortadella-loaded eggs benedict. Go the Funday route with the North Bloody Mary (oyster, shrimp, house-pickled celery), the Hot Tin Roof (bay leaf-infused cachaca, cane sugar, lime & ginger), or the gin, house tonic, lemongrass, grains of paradise Chef's Mate, which doesn't really narrow things down, because Chef mated with everybody.

Nostalgic for the totally weird sh*t that dominated late-night local TV programming in the '80s? Then glue yer eyes to this YouTube channel for hours of footage, from cigar-smoking, hip-hop-hating old ranters claiming "I'm going to rap the head of the next person who brings any of those dumb beats in here!", to DFW's most infamous televangelist literally singing in tongues, i.e., "Ladadabacka sundadibaboso, someone with a growth in your stomach, someone with a growth in your stomach, just raise your hand the Lord is healing you right now…". Catchy!
