Good afternoon Andrew,
Precious metals ended the day marginally lower, and once again close to the early morning London levels.....Silver finished at $28.28 off 10 cents.......Gold closed $12.00 lower at $1578.00.....Palladium edged up by $2.00 to end the session at $616.00...Platinum finished $11.00 lower at $1454.00 per ounce.....Trading volume was light....
Metals acted relatively well considering another sharp drop in oil and an almost 1 cent decline in the value of the Euro versus the Dollar.....Crude fell to $91.56 down $1.01 per barrel.....The Euro is currently down some 84/100ths of U.S. cent at $1.2729.....The metals appear to be lagging behind today's bounce in stocks....
As for stock market activity; the Euro-zone markets closed with late session gains of 1.6% to 1.8%.....Meanwhile the Dow is up some 51 points....
All in all a dull day for the metals....So; that's it.....I'll be back in the morning with any overnight developments.....
