The G-7 held a finance meeting today discussing the status of Europe's sovereign-debt. Few decisions were made, but one idea received much support: financial and fiscal union in Europe is a top priority in returning stability to the Euro.

These discussions come less than two weeks before Group of 20 officials will assemble in Mexico to find possible solutions for current topics including Greece's potential exit, Spain's banking concerns and the Euro's plummet to its lowest level in just shy of a year's time.Finance opinion leaders are voicing concerns for the current economy and its looming effects on the currency market.  Finance officials are labeling the progression toward a fiscal union in Europe "crucial" in resolving the crisis and easing tensions across currency market speculators.
