Good morning everyone,
Metals are steady to a shade lower as traders continue to be pulled between relief over the massive Spanish bank bailout, and anxiety over this Sunday's Greek elections....Simply put; the election results will pretty much tell the world whether Greece is leaving the Eurozone or not....Trading emotions contine to ebb and flow.....This morning we find that sentiment stuck in neutral as far as metals are concerned......Silver is 8 cents lower at $28.60 per ounce.....Gold sits at $1592.00 off $4.00.....Palladium is down $5.00 and changing hands at $622.00.....Platinum is $1442.00 off $12.00.......
In European activity we find the morning sentiment leaning to the plus side......The Euro currency is up 52/100ths of U.S. cent at $1.2519......Eurozone stocks are up 0.5% to 0.8%.....
In the energy markets prices remain steady with a barrel of Oil changing hands at $82.55 off 15 cents.....
Looking towards New York we find the Dow indicating an 84 point higher open after Tuesday's late session swoon of 143 points.....
It is fair to say that trading direction will continue to be swayed by any news out of the European continent....That's it....I'll be back in the afternoon with a wrap up.....
