AT&T, Verizon Team up to Address Roaming Quality, Cost

For many mobile customers, the frustrations associated with roaming quality and billing rank up among the top complaints they would have with their carriers. So, in an effort to address the ongoing issues surrounding roaming quality and cost, several of the largest wireless carries in the world have joined forces to adopt measures to help their customers understand the complex and confusing world of roaming.
Travelers in Europe have long gotten lower prices for train service by purchasing a discount pass that can be used in multiple countries. Now, Three is selling a similar offering in another sector. iPass Inc., the global Wi-Fi roaming leader for enterprises and telecom service providers, has launched the dtac wifi roaming solution from dtac, a mobile network operator in Thailand.
