Bobolink's 10th Birthday Celebration, Sunday, August 19, 2012 - Save the date!

Yes, folks, it's been ten years since we founded Bobolink Dairy, and thirty years
since Nina and Jonathan first met(Olive Tree Cafe, NYC July 1982). These are both
big milestones for us, and we're throwing a big party to celebrate!

Please join us on our back lawn for music by David Amram and friends, bread, cheese,
grassfed 'burgers, roast Bobolink pig, local ales from the Ship Inn, and vegetables
and fruits from our regional farmer friends.

We are asking for $10 per person, which we will donate to the Allegro School, where
our son Jacob spent ten great years This will also give us a headcount, so we don't
run out of food or beer!

We'll be selling the food a la carte, at reasonable prices, for you to enjoy on
the lawn while listening to David and others. David, incidentally, is the man whose
hobby goats got me started as a cheesemaker back in '89.

Beef is in!
We will have ground beef, cubes, and a few braising cuts at the farm store beginning
Thursday, 7/19. We will bring open stock of meats to our markets as supplies allow.
We also have suckled veal, raised on mother's milk and grass:

* rib and loin chops
* kebab cubes
* Cutlets (brush with butter or olive oil, salt and pepper before grilling)
* veal ribs for grilling
* osso bucco (braise in white wine, then finish on the grill)
* ground veal for kofta kebab or meatballs
There is also a limited supply of our own scrapple, pork sausage, pasture raised
chicken and eggs (from neighboring farms), cured duck from HVFG, and other treats.
Cheeses:
We have a limited supply of Amram, Baudolino, and Drumm, as well as a good supply
of Cheddar and Frolic.
The bakery will be running full tilt with all of your favorite breads, cheese biscuits
(the penultimate burger roll!), etc.
