July 25, 2012 Encore Select, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of the brand Stacks of Plaques. Stacks of Plaques have been leaders in the Sports Memorabilia industry for the last 30 years and are well known for their stellar reputation of authentic sports memorabilia. We are excited to be acquiring the inventory and the brand name with the opportunity of offering the current line as well as developing new products under the Stacks of Plaques brand. Many of you may know the owner Lou Scalia who has been a major influence within the industry for thirty years. Lou has agreed to act in an advisory capacity as he begins to enjoy his retirement years. We are very pleased to announce key team members of Stacks of Plaques organization will be joining the Encore Select team and will be handling both Stacks of Plaques and Encore Select customers and products while helping in the transition and the overall future growth of the company. Michael Lacter will be promoted to VP Operations MLacter@encoreselect.com Jill Appel will be promoted to VP of Sales & Marketing JAppel@encoreselect.com Stacks of Plaques is currently located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and the 10,000 square manufacturing facility will be closing and consolidated into Encore Select offices in Tampa, Florida with a target date of August 31, 2012. Everyone at Encore Select is very excited about the opportunity of the acquisition of the brand and the opportunity it presents for both Stacks of Plaques and Encore Select customers.
