| Newport Folk Festival 2012  Now in its 53rd year, the Newport Folk Festival at Fort Adams State Park in Newport, Rhode Island will feature a vibrant array of folk performers. Included in the all-star lineup are such legends as Arlo Guthrie (with The Guthrie Family Reunion) and newer folk superstars like Dawes, Alabama Shakes, Of Monsters and Men, and The Head & The Heart. The folk music festivities will run July 28-29 with a special headlining performance July 27 by folk-rock stars Wilco.
