There is no commitment to our troops more critical than this. And, because you are someone who has stood by our troops through thick and thin, I have a special request to make. Will you step forward and make a monthly pledge that will help support essential USO programs designed to make sure our wounded troops and their families get the support and services they need to sustain their journey to a full and rewarding life? Healing is a long journey that can take months -- even years -- to complete. But if you answer the call today, you and the USO will be right there by their side every step of the way. Give a small amount every month to sustain programs for our wounded, ill and injured troops and provide other morale-boosting USO efforts. When you make your monthly pledge, we'll send you a special American flag. By answering the call to help provide a steady flow of support for our healing heroes, you'll join a special group of our most valuable supporters -- the Proud Patriots Club. These reliable monthly supporters allow our programs to kick in the moment our wounded, ill and injured troops need us. And they help us sustain our commitment to all troops and their families whether they are serving on the battlefield, on a base at home or for as long as their journey to recovery takes.
