| | | A Turnaround Play is Now a Momentum Stock
I think it is in our DNA to root for the underdog. Moreover, we seem to get all fuzzy inside when a household name that was down in the dumps turns itself around and becomes a success. When the bottom fell out of the market in 2008 one could point to specific stocks that you just knew, without hesitation, would have difficulty surviving. When a stock marked for death does survive, and later thrives, it is worth mentioning, even if the cycle is already on the upswing.
Ok, so we are a little late on this one. Still, there is plenty of room for upside at current levels and the risk profile has decreased dramatically. If one were to mention the name Nautilus, Inc. (NYSE - NLS - $3.63) to a health enthusiast, a response of approval would surely be expected. Frankly, for anyone that has watched television for the past 10 years or so, Nautilus and Bowflex are clearly household names. For the uninitiated, NLS is a consumer fitness company that provides the equipment, tools and education necessary to help people achieve a fit and healthy lifestyle. The Company owns an enviable brand portfolio that includes Nautilus, Bowflex, Schwinn® Fitness, Universal and CoreBody Reformer. Nautilus manufactures and markets its line of innovative health and fitness products through direct, specialty retail, retail, and international channels.

When you've been in the business for 23 years (to the day) as I have, a lot of these stocks have come across my desk or computer before. So it's not uncommon to come across stocks that we're somewhat familiar with. Though it doesn't happen often, every once in a while I come across a stock that really brings me back.
