The two dudes behind DBC are celebrating a year of successfully minding their own business by shutting down Platte St and flooding it with 12 taps (like Fresh Hop IPA, Scotch Ale, plus the limited release of their Imperial Graham Cracker Porter). The free, all-day celebration'll also have live music, and three food trucks to provide padding for all that booze, including Basic Kneads Pizza, Uber Sausage, and Chile Billy.

Wine It Up: Infinite Monkey Theorem Party
Fri, Aug 10th, 7p-12a: 3200 Larimer St; Five Points
Mile High's only winery is kicking off their Community Calendar nights with a Five Points throwdown in a parking lot, so prepare to back it up to the sounds of DJ Ginger Perry... then pull it forward, then cut it hard and back it up again. "Multi-media creative collective" Audio Visual Violence Club will entertain the crowds, the Caveman Cafeteria will provide the eats, and primate-obsessed IMT will, of course, hook up the booze.
