		Dear Friend, Summer is supposed to be a time of fun, of playing at the park or the pool and heading out on family vacations. But for too many children and their families, hunger doesn’t take a summer vacation. Please donate to help feed families struggling with hunger this summer and it will have twice the impact thanks to a matching challenge grant from the Kraft Foods Foundation. These months are also particularly difficult for Feeding America’s member food banks. As a result of both food and financial donations dropping during the summer, and the recent nationwide drought, the need is as great as ever.
