First Hong Kong Maker Faire

Brian Smith shared a Flickr gallery of photos from the Hong Kong Mini Maker Faire, which took place on Saturday at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The event brought together an interesting collection of makers, many of them into robotics. My guess is that Brian’s daughter is in the opening photo with her Maker Faire shirt and soldering badge. So cute.

Make:Taiwan was also involved in the event.

For Couch Potatoes with Limited Space

Spotted on hackerspace i3 Detroit’s Facebook page, their newly-built bunk couch seats four but only takes up the floorspace of a two-seater. One commenter on the photo answers the question why with “because hackerspace.” I like that kind of thinking.
