Dr. Jan Pol is back, once again tackling the challenges that come with being a successful veterinarian in rural Michigan.

On the season premiere, the staff is busier than ever. Between treating a pheasant with a broken leg and stitching the mouth of a dog that literally ate his owner's homework, a tornado warning forces the team to retreat and wait out the storm.
