Good morning everyone,
Markets are trading significantly lower around the globe this morning as the quantitative easing enthusiasm seems to be waning; replaced by fresh worries over Europe....There is a fresh rumor that Greece's budget is still 26 billion euros short of goal......
Starting with the metals we find Silver trading lower by 81 cents at $33.82 per ounce.....Gold is down $19.00 at $1757.00.....Palladium is $643.00 at $29.00.....Platinum is off $25.00 and changing hands at $1613.00......
Looking at the energy markets; Crude oil is down $1.32 per barrel at $91.57.......A stronger U.S. Dollar and euro-zone worries are the catalysts.....
The renewed European worries are being reflected in the Euro currency....Last trade $1.2909; now solidly below the psychological $1.30 level.....
Global stock markets are mostly lower as well.......The Asian Dow closed down about 0.44%.....European markets are down by 0.5% to 1.4%......U.S. stocks look to open lower by about 56 Dow points.......Since the U.S. economic calendar remains idle today, traders will be glued to the European news wires for directional guidance....That's it......
