Jim Rogers is the CEO of the largest utility in the country. When Duke Energy completed its merger with Progress Energy, the new Duke Board chose Rogers to run the company instead of Bill Johnson, the former CEO of Progress Energy.

At this Power Breakfast, Rogers will discuss his plan for the merged company, the company's vision for its Raleigh operations, and Duke's commitment to local philanthropy.

This will be one of the first appearances by Rogers at a public event in the Triangle. Event attendees will hear Duke's priorities in the coming years that could shed some light on opportunities to do business with the Charlotte-based company.
