Jena Sujat pictured with Joyce Rosenfeld & Jessica Markey Pinch has been a retail home to innovative and accomplished artists, with emphasis on ceramics, jewelry and homewares. Recently, the iconic Main Street space has undergone a renovation. "I'm so proud to have continued Pinch's long and wonderful history and also to honor its 25 years on Main Street with the renovations," says Pinch owner Jena Sujat. a recently renovated Pinch in 2012 Porcelain artist Mara Superior's Obama White House will be featured in Pinch's window this month. Superior, a Williamsburg resident, is one of Pinch's founding artists and she's an unabashed Obama fan. "I can't remember a more critical, pivotal time," she says. Her porcelain White House with Obama's bust - and a list of his accomplishments cast about his person in cartoon-like bubbles - is upbeat, positive and whimsical. Jena Sujat says, "I couldn't be more thrilled to celebrate our 25 years on Main Street anniversary than with pieces from Mara Superior's Obama Project, and just in time for the upcoming election."
