Gerry Weston
Dear Listener,

If you're in southern New England I hope you have made necessary preparations for Hurricane Sandy, a most unwelcome visitor this week! We'll hope for the best as the storm approaches. We have our own "storm" brewing this Wednesday when Live Jazz New England premieres at 2pm. Our good friend, and saxophone sensation, Grace Kelly will join host Pamela Hines for an hour of live jazz. Grace will be bringing her quintet to the WICN performance studio and all of us are excited to see her, and to listen to the debut show of Live Jazz New England!
Friday Jazz Matinee host Ed Gardella tells me he'll be doing a special tribute show to women this Friday from 2-6pm. Knowing Ed, the show will be heartfelt, and not without a few laughs. Hearing is believing, tune in and enjoy.
