This spiffily appointed counter servicer is offering a bevy of creatively named & flavored sandwiches, including the spicy pork-/jalapeno-/Sriracha-topped Fire Volcano, and the Oriental Express, which you'll no doubt murder 'cause it's topped with Kalbi-marinated beef, caramelized onion & horseradish.

Starting tomorrow, this boutique ice cream slinger is turning its Phinney Ridge shop into a nanobrewery, where, in addition to scream, they're serving craft sodas (Snickerdoodle, Root Beer, etc.), and beers that, like Louie Anderson on Ritalin, are "dessert-focused", including Theo Chocolate Milk Stout and Caffe Vita Coffee Porter.

Officially open tomorrow after two weekends of being all soft, this daytime-eats spot isn't very good at accurate slogans (they say "Arteries are for sissies", when everyone knows they're for carrying blood away from your heart. Duh!), but is incredibly good at breakfast, as evidenced by their eggs Benedict on two pieces of bourbon/vanilla-battered French toast, and an entire menu dedicated to Belgian waffles.

DJ/music producer/TOWNFOLK creator Sabzi from Blue Scholars likes pho. And to showcase his love of said pho, he and his friends made a Kickstarter raising money to fund an iconic poster displaying the ingredients. They've also got other legitimately sweet stuff, like chopsticks, stickers, and a sweet rap video that involves graffiti tagging using Sriracha.

Kicking off this week, Pike Brewing is letting guest brewers not named Robin Yount (yet) take over their museum room every third Thursday of each month. This Thursday it's one of their former brewers, Bill Jenkins, now at Elliot Bay in Lake City, and apparently dude is coming "with surprises for patrons", so... hope you like Lake City t-shirts and novelty foam hands!
