| | | How to Grow Your Business
You've successfully launched your company, sales are brisk, profits are up, and you are starting to hire team members. So what's the next step? Unfortunately for many business owners, it's a stumble. It's not only 12-year-olds who experience growing pains. In business, they're real and sometimes fatal. So how do you take your company to the next level without destroying it? Through Facebook and Twitter, we've asked the advice of those who have been there — EntreLeaders who have successfully grown their companies. Here's their advice on building organizations that last.
@PamelaK49477586: Clarify your vision and mission, and then invest your time, creativity and energy in pursuits that fulfill and realize them.
@JohnAlkire: Find the breakthrough strategies that position you in a new channel, new market or new customer base. And then, develop a good game plan and rigorously execute it.
@athompson362: Save money. You won't win if the cost of growing scares you. And if taking out a loan to grow doesn't scare you, it should.
@Jkerrtweets: Never hire someone you couldn't fire. It's especially true when working with family.
@jaywbarrow: Always do what your grandpa would have done.
@MDRWriting: Focus on personal and professional development. If you are growing the company, you need to stretch yourself too.
@Lexieofc: Never mix your personal money with business money. Treat the business like a separate person. Don't borrow from it.
@Codsterdad1996: Build a foundation of good relationships with your customers.
@MDTaylorService: Never forget why you are in business, and stay in front of your clients, even when it's not business-related.
@EricDingler: You don't know everything and never will. Continuously seek wise council.
@wbrooksshaw: Never forget: It's all about the people. Both your team and your clients are equally important.
@mavwreck75: Pray, take a long, deep breath, exhale slowly, and read EntreLeadership. Do what it says, then attend EntreLeadership Master Series. Reap the benefits. Repeat often and give.
@josemonterotv: Create a simple system for maximum duplication and efficiency. Don't forget, McDonald's is run by 16-year-olds.
@gabescully: Serve your target market/tribe relentlessly like no one else ever has. Cash follows.
@LisaShaw44: Procrastination is a killer, so always keep moving. Appreciate those whom you serve in your business/ministry.

| Learn more about your DISC profile Dave Ramsey @daveramsey You know that business growth doesn't happen by accident. Well, the same is true for personal growth, relational growth, marriage growth and parenting growth. If you want to win, you have to be intentional about each area of life. Sharon and I manage our lives in detail by a calendar, and we purposely make time for each other and our family. We write down "Dave and Sharon Date Nights," getaways and family vacations. The danger to this plan is trying to make every single day 50/50. It's not going to happen. There are days that are work-heavy and others that are primarily family. In the long run, though, the goal is to have balance over all the areas. Get out that calendar, mark everything down, and watch both your company and your personal life prosper. | | | |
