2013 Optional Standard Mileage Rates Posted: 04 Dec 2012 12:28 AM PST by GlennaMae Hendricks, EA Pickups use the same mileage rate as cars and vans.  The Internal Revenue Service has issued the 2013 optional standard mileage rates that may be used to calculate the deductible costs of operating an automobile for business, charitable, medical or moving purposes.
