Defend Protections for Woodland Caribou

Dear Center Supporter, Woodland caribou, North America's only reindeer, once roamed across the northern Rockies, upper Midwest and Northeast. Today only small numbers occur in Idaho's Selkirk Mountains, and the last American survivors desperately need your help. Despite the precarious status of our woodland caribou, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service recently said it might grant a request from a fringe property-rights group to strip the caribou of its Endangered Species Act protections.
