January 3, 2013 That's a whole lotta cash. Gap has acquired Intermix for $130 million in cash, Women's Wear Daily reports. Intermix, a multi-store luxury boutique, has been looking to expand its reach and Gap looks to up its own fashion cred. And thus a retail match made in heaven. "We are the incubator with emerging brands, and we can help them out with collaborations," Intermix founder and CEO Khajak Keledjian said.
