Those complaints got so loud that both Google (News - Alert) and Apple took action, by hurrying out a new Google Maps application to take over the navigating duties on the iPhone (News - Alert) 5. Now it appears that another iOS bug has popped up, this time having to do with the “Do Not Disturb” function on the iPhone 5. It appears that the bug, which does not properly tell the “Do Not Disturb” function to turn off automatically, was tripped up by the change in year. The Do Not Disturb function remains engaged well past the day it is supposed to shut off. That means people who wanted their phones to go into Do Not Disturb on December 31st and come out of that mode on January 1st found that the mode had indeed not disengaged...
