Final Call for Early-Stage Communication Technology Startups
Application deadline extended to January 13 for StartupCamp7 pitch slot at ITEXPO Miami
Norwalk, CT - January 8, 2013 - TMC, in conjunction with their partner EMBRASE Consulting, announced a Final Call for Applications for StartupCamp7, their high-energy networking and early stage startup event that connects up-and-coming startups with potential collaborators, investors and clients.
The event is collocated with TMC’s ITEXPO Miami 2013, the world’s largest and best-attended communications and technology trade show held January 30 - February 1, 2013 at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami Beach, Florida. StartupCamp7 will be held Thursday, January 31, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. EST. Companies interested in participating must submit their application online by January 13th, 2013.
To be considered to present at StartupCamp7, companies must be building a service or product, leveraging voice, video, SMS, or related technologies; be under three years old; and be privately- or angel-funded. Qualifying startups must submit an application by January 13, 2013. Up to five early-stage startups will be selected to present high-level, five-minute presentations in a “ready, set, pitch” format. Participants will be evaluated by both a panel of judges and the StartupCamp7 audience members on which company most deserves interest from prospective customers, partner and investors,
Startups presenting at previous editions of StartupCamp at ITEXPO have gone on to great achievements, including StartupCamp6’s FlashValet, which went on to raise over $1M, and StartupCamp2’s GroupMe, who later sold to Skype for more than $60M.

ITEXPO is the world's largest and best-attended communications and technology trade show, and is held January 30 - February 1, 2013, at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami Beach, Florida.
