		A Sure Bet   by Rob Goldman     It is said that the only thing sure in life are death and taxes. I believe that another category should be added to this list.  That category is the success of gambling initiatives and enterprises.  There is a clear plurality of our world population that has a strong affinity for gambling. Moreover, the more readily available the gaming opportunities, the more likely there is substantive success and the greater stream of repeat customers and users.     I have always been a fan of gaming companies and gaming stocks, despite their somewhat seasonal business and cyclical economic nature.  I am also a believer in occasionally buying and selling the same stocks. In this fashion, one does not have to learn a new story, can feel comfortable with trends and can take advantage of inflection points in the business cycle.   With that in mind, we return to one of our earliest profiled stocks, and one that we have mentioned from time to time. (NASDAQ: GLUU - $2.83).   To read more click here >> or visit http://www.thestockjunction.com     The Absence of Racism   by Rob Goldman     We have all heard stories of life cycle events that impact how we invest, save, spend and approach the building and execution of generational wealth.  I had a particularly trying weekend that had me feeling surrounded by life cycle events.  These included attending a wedding, a bar mitzvah, visiting a newborn baby, seeing those severely infirmed and speaking with those in mourning. I even found time to eat at a restaurant that should be a symbol for the melting pot that is this great country.   When I look back at this hectic weekend, I find myself waxing philosophic.  Actually, I came to realize something about the investing world that I never realized until just now. And it's a beautiful thing.   During a time when we are polarized as a society and in some respects as a nation, we can hang our hats on the fact that in the investing world, we enjoy, for the most part, an absence of racism.  This is truly a remarkable thing.  In a sense, investors practice what I call a pure investing approach.   To read more click here >> or visit http://www.thestockjunction.com
