SIP Forum's third annual "SIP Network Operators Conference", April 22-25, 2013, to provide key educational and networking opportunities for telecom service provider technical personnel WebRTC, SIP trunking, security, emergency services and SIP- IPv6 deployment challenges are several of the leading agenda topics at SIPNOC 2013, the three-day conference presented by the SIP Forum for service provider engineering and technical staff that is taking place April 22-25, 2013 at the Hyatt Dulles Hotel in Herndon, VA. Now in its third year, SIPNOC 2013 is a unique educational conference for international telecom stakeholders responsible for the deployment, management and ongoing operation of SIP-based services in service provider networks. The preliminary SIPNOC 2013 conference schedule, released today, features presentations, speeches and panels by representatives of leading international wireline and broadband service providers, government officials and academic researchers. Speakers will explore critical “real-world” service provider challenges related to SIP applications and infrastructure, including: network security, SIP trunking, testing and application development, Fax over IP, call routing and peering, IPv6, troubleshooting and monitoring, emergency services and more. “This year’s conference agenda is not only designed to build on the education provided during the last two events, but to also focus on some of the most recent trends prevalent in the IP communications industry,” said Marc Robins, SIP Forum President and Managing Director. “By continuing to leverage some of the brightest technical minds in the industry, together with the rigorous review process we follow to select content, SIPNOC conferees are assured that the presentations will be insightful and highly educational.” SIPNOC 2013 attendees will include telecommunications providers, major backbone operators, interconnect and wholesale solution providers, ISPs, cable operators, wireless network operators and representatives of large enterprises deploying major SIP initiatives. While the international carrier and service provider community is the primary audience for SIPNOC 2013, industry stakeholders involved in major SIP initiatives, such as network equipment vendors, government agency representatives, large enterprise network operators and academic researchers are also encouraged to attend.
