In today's mobile world – which includes the chaos of BYOD - you know how to assure that a company's most critical information and communications assets are safe and secure anywhere, any time and all the time.

Here's your opportunity to educate an audience under immense pressure to eliminate data security risks within their mobile devices and networks.

We invite you to submit a proposal for SecureIT Conference 2013 taking place July 23, 2013 in New York, New York.

Deadline for submissions: is March 22, 2013

Attendees are particularly interested in the following topics:

  • How the BYOD use case has changed the game completely in online security—more vectors of vulnerability has increased risk exposure exponentially.
  • Identity is the new perimeter: Why IT bypass and need for speed means redefining the perimeter and rethinking security.
  • "Visibility": You cannot defend against what you don't know. It starts with knowledge of what you have, associated risks, and having a better view of what is being threatened, when, why, how and by whom. Why breach level indices, real-time visualization of attacks and information sharing are critical in a BYOD world.
  • Device and app management: Options abound but what is best for your organization? Where should security solutions focus? Why, when and how?
  • Context Mediation: Separating, managing, securing and monitoring multiple persona
  • "Reputation" and profiling: How "big data" can enhance BYOD best practices.
  • Lost or stolen: Ensuring missing BYOD devices can be tracked and disabled before they cause mayhem.
  • Educating users: People are still the major threat whether because of malicious intent or by accident, what are the best ways to educate users? What works?
  • Advanced Persistent Threats: It is not just about government espionage, BYOD gives even individual hackers ways to disrupt "E"verything
  • The Cloud: Friend or foe? BYOD brings the public cloud into the enterprise and the gap between internal and external protection needs to be closed.
  • Encryption: It is growing in importance and use but who is minding the keys and certificates?
  • Getting C-Level buy-in: How do convince management to invest in a holistic and layered approach. Leveraging C-level use of personal devices to run the enterprise to enhance overall security.
  • Security as a Service (SaaS): Is it time to let the experts take over and what can/should/will you control?
  • The "Governmentization" of enterprise security: Mandate to move to the Cloud along with governance and compliance means government best practices and requirements are likely to be adopted by enterprises.
  • Best Practices: What leading CSOs are doing proactively as well as reactively to deal with the BYOD "new normal" regarding risk management.
  • Keeping up with the bad guys: Where can and should we go from here and where BYOD fits?
Attendees Include:
