The march of iOS and Android smartphones and tablets into the enterprise has been unrelenting. Many enterprises, caught off-guard, reacted by quickly implementing MDM (Mobile Device Management) solutions believing they were adequately protected. However, most MDM solutions only provide a subset of what is needed to address each organization's unique challenges. A more thorough and customizable approach is needed to prepare the enterprise to move beyond "managing mobile" to truly mobilizing the business.

Learn from industry expert and Aragon Research analyst, Mike Anderson, how a more holistic view provided by EMM—Enterprise Mobile Management—allows enterprises to better leverage the power of today's connected devices.

What Attendees will learn:

  • Why MDM alone is not sufficient
  • How EMM (Enterprise Mobile Management) holistically addresses the challenges of BYOD
  • What the major components of EMM should provide
  • The importance of standards and extensibility in EMM solutions

The eventual evolution was implementing this technology into robotics, and now public and private organizations are creating some truly innovative products. One of these creations is the Nao, a 23 inch tall autonomous robot weighing in at 9.5lbs; but don’t let its small size fool you.

The Nao is specifically designed to learn and adapt to its surrounding based on the parameters the owner of the unit implements in its system. The Nao is primarily used in educational settings, but it can be configured for many other applications because it can be programmed to learn.

Although it is capable of performing many tasks, its latest accomplishment is eye-catching and impressive. Nao can >spell and write the word that is being dictated to it with incredible accuracy. We don’t know if this means it will be in the next Scripps National Spelling Bee, but kids are put on notice to be on the lookout for a 23 inch contestant...Read More>>>
