Hi Guitarist,

How are you? I hope the guitaring is going well.

It's going good for me because I keep coming up
with cool stuff, lol...

Yep, I love sharing cool stuff that I find on the fretboard.
and so with that in mind, here's a little lick
I was riffing on earlier today.

Let me give you the lick and then explain a bit about it:

I am playing this legato, meaning picking
as few notes as possible and using hammer ons
and pull offs.

It's based roughly around an A minor pentatonic
with some "dorian" tonality, scale sequencing,
and also "blue note" tonality.

Play it as fast as you can clean.

If you can play it at a fast speed while sounding
smooth, it sounds pretty freakin' sweet.

I know you're probably hungry to create your own
rockin' licks...

Experiment with these ideas, change em up, try
to apply them to licks of your own.

Of course, if you want to speed up the process
and jump over a lot of the trial and error,
it never hurts to take a few shortcuts.
